Our Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Cheap Trivia. As a provider of digital products, we strive to offer high-quality goods and services to our valued customers. Due to the nature of digital products, once a purchase has been made and the product has been delivered, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges — except as outlined below.

Digital Product Policy

All trivia packs, themed trivia nights, and subscription content sold through Cheap Trivia are delivered electronically and are immediately accessible upon purchase. Because digital files can be downloaded, copied, and used immediately after delivery, we cannot accept returns in the traditional sense.

Monthly & Weekly Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your monthly or weekly subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us at help@cheaptrivia.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you will continue to receive your weekly trivia packs until the period ends. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial monthly or weekly subscription periods.

Annual Prepay Subscription Refunds (Usage-Based)

Annual prepay subscriptions ($599 lump payment) are eligible for refunds on a usage-based formula calculated at the standard monthly subscription rate of $60 per month:

• Within 30 days of purchase, packs not yet used: full $599 refund.
• After 30 days, or after any pack is delivered: refund equals $599 minus $60 for each month elapsed since the purchase date. Example: a refund requested 6 months into an annual subscription would be $599 − ($60 × 6) = $239.
• After 10 months of usage: no refund is available — the prorated monthly equivalent ($60 × 10 = $600) already exceeds the prepaid amount.

This policy ensures fairness on both sides: customers whose circumstances genuinely change in the first half of the year receive a meaningful refund, while the annual prepay discount cannot be exploited as a free year of service.

Annual prepay customers also retain the standard 30-day money-back guarantee on the first month if the format doesn’t fit your venue — contact us within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund in full, no questions asked.

Multi-Venue Plan Cancellations

2-venue and 3–5 venue monthly plans follow the same cancellation rules as the standard monthly subscription — cancel anytime, no prorated refunds for partial months.

Exceptions for All Plans

We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following situations, regardless of subscription type:

• The file you received was corrupted or unreadable
• You were charged incorrectly or billed more than once for the same order
• The product delivered was materially different from what was described
